I am a licensed psychologist based in Boston offering compassionate, evidence-based psychological services for children, adolescents, young adults, and families in Massachusetts. I specialize in chronic illness/medical coping, anxiety, OCD, phobias, ADHD, depression, trauma, and eating disorders. In addition, I am a bilingual psychologist with native fluency in Arabic and English and have particular interests in serving Arab, Middle Eastern, North African, and Muslim communities.

I provide tailored consultation and workshops for businesses, hospitals, and universities on a number of topics related to social justice, health equity, and anti-racist and culturally responsive practices in health care.

About Me

I am a licensed psychologist based in Boston offering psychological services to children, adolescents, young adults, and families. My approach is evidence-based, warm, compassionate, creative, and tailored to your unique needs. My specialties include chronic illness/medical coping, OCD, anxiety, phobias, ADHD, mood/depression, eating disorders, and PTSD/trauma. As a bilingual psychologist with native fluency in both English and Arabic, I am also particularly interested in serving Middle Eastern, North African, and Muslim communities.

I also offer tailored consultation and workshops for organizations, hospitals, and universities on topics related to mental and behavioral health awareness, social justice, culturally responsive care, and health equity.

Prior to starting my private practice, I was an attending pediatric psychologist at Boston Children’s Hospital and faculty at Harvard Medical School, where I also completed my postdoctoral fellowship and internship/residency.

I obtained my Ph.D. in Psychology with an emphasis in school psychology from North Carolina State University. I have extensive training in pediatric psychology and clinical psychology in a variety of nationally acclaimed institutions, including medical hospitals, clinics, schools, and inpatient psychiatric hospitals.

Services

  • I provide individual therapy and family therapy utilizing a variety of evidence-based practices. I am in the process of being credentialed with insurance. I also offer self-pay/private pay rates.

  • I provide consultation for parents and families on a range of topics, including behavioral health, parenting, and school consultation (e.g., understanding IEPs).

  • I provide consultations and workshops for hospitals, universities, organizations, businesses, and worship centers on topics such as culturally responsive care, mental and behavioral health awareness, social justice, health equity, and inclusion.
